GENERAL BEHAVIOUR CONSULTING
There's a reason behind the behaviour. Let's find it.
When a cat starts showing aggression, fearfulness, compulsive habits, or tension with another cat in the home, it is rarely random. Behaviour is communication. Understanding what your cat is trying to tell you starts with asking the right questions.
A General Behaviour Consultation gives you a structured starting point: a thorough assessment of your cat's history, environment, temperament, and the specific behaviours you are concerned about, with a written report to take away.

IS THIS THE RIGHT SERVICE?
A General Behaviour Consultation is well-suited to a wide range of feline behaviour concerns. Before booking, here is a guide to whether this service is the right starting point for your situation.

This service if a good fit if:
-
Your cat is showing aggression — toward people, other cats, or in response to specific triggers
-
Your cat is displaying fear-based behaviour such as hiding, hypervigilance, or stress signals
-
You are managing a multi-cat household challenge, including a difficult introduction or ongoing conflict
-
Your cat is showing compulsive or repetitive behaviours that concern you
-
You have noticed a behavioural change and are not sure where to begin
-
You want a professional assessment and a clear written direction rather than generic advice
This service is not a good fit when:
-
Your primary concern is litter box avoidance or house-soiling — the Litter Box Reset Program is designed specifically for those cases and includes additional follow-up support
-
You are looking for quick tips rather than a thorough assessment
-
A veterinary exam has not yet ruled out health-related causes — if you suspect an underlying medical issue, that is always the right first step

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?
For cases that take more time, or for owners who want continued access to structured support as they work through the process, the Post-Consultation Support Program is available to clients who have completed a General Behaviour Consultation.
Your consultant will discuss during your appointment whether ongoing support makes sense for your situation.
