LITTER BOX RESET PROGRAM

Your cat stopped using the box for a reason. Let's find it.

Litter box problems are one of the most common reasons cats are surrendered to shelters. They are also one of the most resolvable — when the underlying cause is correctly identified.

That last part is where most people get stuck. There is no shortage of advice online. There is a shortage of advice that actually accounts for your cat, your home, and what is specifically driving the behaviour.

The Litter Box Reset is a structured consultation designed to get you there

In-person in Sarnia-Lambton · Virtual anywhere

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

Litter Box Reset Program | $300

You will leave this consultation with more than a list of things to try. You will have a clear understanding of what is contributing to the problem, a written resource plan specific to your cat and household, and a realistic path forward.

A thorough assessment of what is driving the behaviour, based on your cat’s history, environment, health factors, and household dynamics

A written summary of your session and resource plan, delivered within 48 hours and yours to refer back to at any time

Two included post-consultation check-ins so you have structured support as you implement the plan

A consultant who will tell you plainly what they are seeing — including if your situation calls for something more than a single session

IS THIS THE RIGHT SERVICE?

The Litter Box Reset is a good fit if:

  • Your cat has stopped using the box, is eliminating outside of it, or has started going in other areas of the home

  • You have already had a veterinary examination to rule out medical causes

  • You want a thorough assessment rather than a quick list of generic tips

  • You are ready to implement a structured plan with support

The Litter Box Reset is NOT a good fit if:

  • Your primary concern is aggression, anxiety, or another behaviour issue unrelated to litter box use — a General Behaviour Consultation may be a better starting point

  • You are looking for a quick answer rather than a proper assessment — feline behaviour is rarely that straightforward, and an accurate recommendation requires understanding the full picture

Please note: A recent veterinary examination is required before booking. If your cat has not been seen by a vet, that is the right first step — a number of medical conditions can cause or contribute to litter box avoidance, and those need to be ruled out before we look at behaviour.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?

For cases that take more time, or for owners who want continued access to structured support as they work through the process, the Post-Consultation Support Program is available to clients who have completed a Litter Box Reset.

Your consultant will discuss during your appointment whether ongoing support makes sense for your situation.
